The investment refers to the construction of a section of line 3 of Sofia metro for a total length of 3 km and with 3 stations, which will provide a clean, rapid and efficient public transport service to passengers with intermodal connections. The investment shall allow transport of 7.6 million passengers per year on average as of 2026; it is expected to lead to a reduction in greenhouse gases and air pollution in the city, in the number of cars in circulation in the city and to enhance the public transport for the city’s inhabitants.
