Providing hot meals - Chepelare

The aim of the project proposal is supplementing and upgrading the scope of the current Public kitchen-Chepelare, funded by the MLSP, fund "Social protection" by ensuring disadvantaged people access to social service:1.Monthly support for persons and members of their families under the terms and conditions of Article 9 of the Implementing Regulations of the Law for social support;2.Persons with proven lack of income and relatives to take care of them, established by the Directorate "Social Assistance";3.Single people and families receiving minimum retirement old-age pension; invalidity pensions; survivors' pensions; pensions unrelated to work.The project meets the needs and contributes to a better quality of life. The service will be used after initiation of specific target group representatives from the Directorate "Social Assistance”–Smolyan. 60 eligible customers will benefit from the service. They will be specified by a committee whose composition includes a representative of the DSA.The Food will be offered in the working days of the month 09.05.-30.12.2017.The project team includes administrator and accountant.Buying foodstuffs is in accordance with the requirements of national legislation.The supply of foodstuffs has been assigned to an external contractor in accordance with the requirements of the Public Procurement Law. A contractwith a company has been signed.The food is prepared in facility owned by the municipality.The base is fitted and equipped and contains everything needed for the effective operation of the work. The premises meet all the requirements.The kitchen is registered in Regional directorate for food safety as a kitchen. As of 01.12.2018 the service will be provided by an external contractor selected under the Public Procurement Act to 500 end users.
