"Providing warm meal in Municipality of Ruse - 2016"

The present project proposal is realized in connection with the provided opportunity for Ruse Municipality to apply under Operation Type 3 "Providing warm lunch." The project proposal will be implemented through a direct award procedure BG05FMOP001-03.02 "Providing warm meal-2016" in accordance with Government Decree № 37 of 23.02.2015 identifying detailed rules for implementation of the Operational program for food and / or basic material assistance, financed by the European Fund for assistance to the most deprived persons 2014-2020 and subsequent amendments, as described in the Operational Program for food and / or material support. In the period from 03/05/2016 until 31/12/2019, under the 1016 calendar days, 110 persons from the target groups will receive a warm meal at the disclosed and functioning public soup kitchen. By providing the opportunity of receiving warm meal, the persons from the target groups will satisfy their basic living needs of food. During the project will operate one public soup kitchen in Ruse. The preparation of the warm meal will be carried out by Municipal Enterprise "Social enterprise - Public soup kitchen" for users with permanent or current address in the city of Ruse. The warm meal will be consumed personally by the consumer in place at the public soup kitchen. If there are persons identified as wandering and homeless, the food will be provided on the street. In realization of the project proposal will be respected The horizontal principles: 1. Good financial management, publicity and transparency. 2. Gender equality and non-discrimination. 3. Partnership. 3. Environment activities for possible influence change when buying foods in order to reduce their waste. 4. Promoting a balanced diet.
