"Providing a warm meals in Byala Slatina Municipality 2016"

A large number of people in the municipality of Byala Slatina lives below the poverty line, worst forms of deprivation and inability to implementation of labor market. The current project proposal is in response to solve these problems and will make a significant contribution in the fight against poverty. The project will encompass the most vulnerable groups in the municipality affected by worst forms of poverty. The support which will be made to the people in or at risk of poverty by the project is in providing a warm meals in the working days of the month. Also, through the project implementation will be provided support for upgrading the activities of the public kitchen and extension of social services types. The main target groups of the project that will receive warm meals are the following: 1. Individuals and families monthly supported under the terms of Article 9 of Rule for implementation of LSS; 2. Persons without income and relatives to care for them, identified by the Directorate "Social support"; 3. Single people and families receiving low pensions - for retirement and old age, handicaps, other pensions; Not received warm meals will be allocated to an additional target group, which includes: 1. Individuals and families supported by Decree № RD 07-5 since 2008 for granting allowances for heating; 2. Individuals from the main target group that are in the waiting list. The main objective of the project is to reduce the number of people living in poverty, by helping them with warm meals, in order to overcome basic material deprivation. This main objective will be achieved through the implementation of project activities, which are: Identification of target groups; Purchase of foods; Providing of warm meals; Providing of accompanying measures. As a result of the project will be achieved the following results: - Upgraded activity of public kitchen; - Expanded range of social services; - Reduced number of people poor in or at risk of poverty.
