Providing hot meal in Byala town, Ruse district

The main priority of the project proposal is to provide free hot meal for people in need, people who have become socially and financially poor. The realization of this project is a part of a targeted social policy, which Byala Municipality develops to support people and families, object of monthly support; people with less income and family to take care of; people or families who live alone, with minimum income; homeless people etc. The project will provide hot meal for 80 consumers in Byala town, representatives of the main targeted groups, defined in provisions of Regulation № RD – 07-1 from 04.04.2016 of MTSP, for a period of 42 month –01.07.2016-30.04.2020. On the territory of Byala Municipality is functioning one home care kitchen/DSP/, with location in Byala town. DSP-Byala is a municipal activity which is funded by the municipality budget and the material base which is used is also municipal property. In that material base is the home care kitchen which provides and secures the hot meal for the people who are most in need in Byala town. During the autumn-winter season of 2013-2016 the home care kitchen in DSP-Byala has made and delivered hot meal for a project, financed by the fund “Social protection” in MTSP, and during the summer season of 2015 – by project “Providing hot meal in Byala Municipality”, financed by the Operational program for food or basic financial support, cofinanced by FEP for the most in need people of 2014-2020. The realization of this project proposal will create opportunity to upgrade and expansion the activities of the already existing and functioning home care kitchen in DSP-Byala. In that kitchen during the working days of the month will be prepared and delivered the hot meal, hot meal which will be packaged individually with disposable kitchen utensils. The municipality has and will provide specialized transport with which will provide hot meal for the people with disabilities or difficulty in moving.
