"Providing hot meals municipality Strelcha"

The establishment of a communal kitchen as a part of an operational programme for the supply of food and/or basic material help from the Fund for European Aid to the most Deprived, will provide a hot meal for those in need. The targeted groups are:1.Individuals and families who receive a monthly allowance as stated in article 9 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Law on Family Benefits,2. Individuals with proven lack of income and relatives who take care of them,3. Individuals who live alone and families who receive a minimal pension Additional targeted groups:1. Individuals and families who receive heating subsidies during the heating season preceding the subsidy, as stated in Ordinance № RD-07-5 from 2008,2.Mothers who receive a monthly aid for every child at the age of 1 or less according to article 8, paragraph 1 from the Law on Family Allowances for Children 3. Individuals and families who have received one-time targeted assistance in the beginning of the school year as stated in article 10a from the Law on Family Allowances for Children,4. Individuals and families who have received one-time or monthly assistance for deterrence or reintegration, raising a child with relatives or in foster homes as stated in the Regulations for the Implementation of the Law on Family Benefits ,5.Individuals and families, victims of natural disaster or breakdowns due to unforeseen circumstances.The main purpose of the project is to expand the working capacity of the communal kitchen already in place funded by the Finance projects of ‘Social protection’; and also its operation during times of the year when national funding is not provided. The expected outcome is the provision of vital needs during times of the year when national funding is not provided. Major activities:1.Identification of targeted groups,2.Purchase of food supplies,3. Provision of hot meals4.Provision of accompanying measures
