Providing a hot lunch in municipality of Varshets

The implementation of this project is a part of a purposeful social policy which Municipality of Varshets develops to support people who live in a material deprivation and at risk of social exclusion. The target group of the project is determined in accordance with Ordinance RD -07-1/04.04.2016 on the terms and conditions for determining the target groups under the Operational Programme for food and/or basic material assistance co-financed by the European Fund for helping persons in need. With funds under the Operational Programme, Operation Type 3: "Providing a hot lunch" BG05FMOP001 3.002 will enable those persons to receive hot lunch during the months of August 2016 to 29.02. 2020 The project will contribute to achieving the overall objective of the Operational program, related to reducing the number of people living in poverty by helping them with food to overcome the main material deprivation. The public dinning will provide "Hot Lunch" to 130 users in the working days of the week, from August 1, 2016 to 29.02. 2020 It will be providing a varied weekly menu, which ensure balanced eating to the target group, subject to the requirements for food safety and national standards and norms for eating.
