Provision of hot meal on the territory of Haskovo municipality

The Municipality of Haskovo is a direct beneficiary of Operation Type 3 “LUNCH INSURANCE” 2016-2019, and with the implementation of this project proposal aims to reduce the number of people living in poverty by helping them with food, with a view to overcoming them. of material deprivation. As part of the current operation, the Haskovo Municipality plans to provide a balanced and healthy diet to a total of 600 people living in the Haskovo Municipality within 147 working days. Due to the large number of applications wishing to join the service, Haskovo Municipality increases the number of users of a total of 1000 persons who will use the service from 01.05.2017. to 02/29/2020 The main target groups are: 1. Persons and families on monthly support under the terms and conditions of Art. 9 of the RBMP; 2. Persons with proven lack of income and relatives to care for them, established by the relevant Social Assistance Directorate; 3. Single persons and families receiving minimum pensions; 4. Wandering and homeless children and persons. In order to provide a warm lunch to people with mobility difficulties, Haskovo municipality will deliver home deliveries through the already developed transport scheme to the municipality's Home Social Patronage service, and for street and / or homeless persons, deliver deliveries on the street. By order of the Mayor of Haskovo Municipality, a second competition for the management of the social service "Public Dining Room" was held and on May 1, 2017. a new contract has been concluded with a service provider in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Business and Business Act. The accompanying measures are also planned to be implemented within the project proposal. For this purpose, a team of municipal employees was formed to provide support, assistance, individual or group counseling in response to identified specific needs of the target group representatives.
