Provision of hot lunch in Perushtitsa Municipality

The goal of the project is to provide hot lunch for people who receive aid acoording article 9 of the Statute for applying of the Law for Social Assistance and people and families living alone and people in financial trouble residing in Municipality. The project activities will upgrade and expand the range of the active “Social Patronage” and the principle of no double funding and no double activities will be respected. A team formed by the Mayor will define the target groups – beneficiaries of the project based on lists provided by Social Assistance Directorate, Stamboliiski and on a selection mechanism. Purchase of the food and the provision of hot lunch will be assigned to an executor according to Public Procurement Law. The prepared food will be delivered to facilities that are registered according to article 12 of Food Law and distributed to the disable people. Perushtitsa Municipality will observe the whole process of food preparation following the national regulation for food safety and the principle of balanced diet. The project activities are set to start on 07.09.2016 and will include 100 consumers in the municipality and will continue 44 months in the working days of these months. Monthly consultation are set to be provided for opportunities for other social assistances, administrative services by an employee of “Social Patronage” for entire duration of the project.
