Providing Warm Lunch in Smolyan Municipality

The project proposal of the Municipality of Smolyan aims to provide diverse, high-quality and balanced hot meals that will help residents of the municipality who are at risk of poverty or are already experiencing poverty. Within the project " Provision of Hot Lunch in Smolyan " we are planning to provide hot meals to 170 people for 665 working days in dining room 1 and 579 working days in dining room 2 to 6 inclusive ( 3 of them in the town area of Smolyan and the other 3 in the villages of Momchilovtsi, Smilian and Taran). As part of the project activities we provide accompanying measures for the people who will receive hot lunch. They will be tailored to the need and desire of the people and will consist in providing support, information, individual and group consultations. The target group of the project is: - Individuals and families who receive monthly support under the terms and conditions of Art. 9 of the Regulations for the implementation of the Social Assistance Act.; - Persons with proven lack of income and relatives to take care of them established by the Directorate "Social Assistance" ; - Single people and families who receive minimum pensions - for retirement age ; disability ; survivors' pensions ; pensions unrelated to work. The selection of those who will receive hot lunch will be carried out jointly with the Directorate "Social Assistance" -Smolyan , which will ensure that the service to be provided by the project will reach exactly the people for whom it is intended. The expected result of the project is the provision of real support to 165 residents, from 01.01.2018 - 170 residents of the municipality of Smolyan. The project activities shall last 8 months, starting on 01.10.2016 until 31.12.2019. and in its implementation we will ensure respect and dignity to the most deprived persons and will not discriminate on the basis of sex , race , ethnic origin, religion , disability, age or other status.
