Providing hot meals in Krumovgrad town

Project "Providing a warm lunch at the Krumovgrad Municipality" aims to reduce the number of people living in poverty in the municipality of Krumovgrad, helping them with food in order to overcome basic material deprivation. Krumovgrad Municipality has available facilities to provide hot lunch. The service will be provided to 70 people, 60 people will be served in the Home social patronage in Krumovgrad town and 10 - at the subsidiary in Avren village. Every working day for the period from 15 September 2016 until 30 April 2017, they will receive soup, main dish and bread, while savings and dessert. The project will include persons from the following target groups: - Persons and families monthly support under the terms and conditions of Art. 9 of the Regulations for the implementation of the Social Assistance Act; - Persons with proven lack of income and relatives to take care of them established by the Social Assistance Directorate; - Single people and families receiving minimum pensions - retirement age; disability; survivor's pensions; pensions unrelated to work. Part of the approved beneficiaries, lunch will be provided on the spot, while another part will make a delivery at home. The patronage and subsidiary him have a car and enough cups for food delivery in the homes of end users with difficulties in movement. The project will offer and accompanying measures of the target group, complementing the service. Accompanying measures are expressed in individual counseling and assistance: opportunities to use other social services offered in the municipality of Krumovgrad, including those funded by the ESF; the use of municipal administrative services to support access to health and educational services for healthy and balanced diet or other forms of support implemented in response to specific needs and problems of the representatives of the target groups.
