Providing warm lunch for people from vulnerable groups in the municipality of Troyan

Providing hot meals every working day, during a period of 45 months, for 60 inhabitants of the municipality of Troyan from the following target groups: 1. Individuals and families, monthly supported under the conditions of Article 9 from the Rules, implementing the Law on social assistance. 2. Persons with proven lack of income, established by the Social Assistance Office – Troyan, and relatives, who take care of them; 3. Drifters and homeless people. We intend to strat the project on 1st August 2016 with Activity 1 – determination of the target groups. From 1st September 2016 to 30.04.2020 – (we intend) to provide a "social dining room" service by a registered external supplier, through a "social dining room", founded at the village of Dobrodan. Troyan Municipality has signed a contract with the supplier for the award of social services, according to which until 30th April 2016, the same was preparing hot meals for 60 persons on the project "Social dining room" funded by "Social protection" Fund of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. From 01.06.2019 to 30.04.2020 to provide a "social dining room" service by a selected foreign law firm. The main goal of the project is to reduce the number of people, inhabited Municipality of Troyan, who live in poverty and social exclusion, due to lack of funds for food, and also to extend the duration of the service, to upgrade and ensure further development of the achieved results by inclusion of accompanying measures. We intend to implement the following activities: 1. Determination of the target groups under the regulations of Art. 5 and Art. 6 of the Regulation RD-071 / 4th April 2016, for the order and conditions for determination of target groups under the Operational Programme for food and / or basic material assistance, financed by the Fund for European Aid to the most Deprived (FEAD). 2. Purchase of foodstuffs- from 1st September 2016 to 30.04.2020. 3. Providing hot lunch. 4. Provision of accompanying measures.
