"Public messhall on the territory of Plovdiv Municipality"

This project proposal is aimed at providing support for the most vulnerable groups of the population through the provision of food aid, as a social service to the community.Through its implementation,2060 persons will be covered on the territory of the city of Plovdiv by the permissible target group,established in accordance with art.5,pr.1 and 2 of decree NoRD 07 – 01/04.04.2016 for the Operation type 3 “ Providing of food aid“, a procedure for the direct provision of the grant scheme BG05FMOP001–2-3“Providing of food aid 2016 “,OP FMA, funded by FEAD. The project proposal will be implemented through procurement , by the beneficiary – Municipality of Plovdiv, for the service of providing food aid for the users of a social service provider.The same will be selected in compliance with the provisions of art.18,pr.3 of the Social assistance law and it’s relevant regulations.The selected contractor will be responsible for the overall implementation of social service , including purchasing , preparation and supply of food in the form of a hot lunch for persons from the target group.The service will be available to users in the six administrative districts of the city of Plovdiv , in premises provided by the selected social service provider , fulfilling the terms of art.12 of Food law.The provision of food aid, in the form of food rations for the persons in need,will be carried out over a period of 43 months (01.10.2016-30.04.2020).The total duration of the project is estimated to be 40 months, as the value of the implementation of the activities is 4 987 761,86 lv.The main activities of the project will be complemented by measures on information and publicity to ensure maximum transparency and adequate awareness of the target groups and stakeholders, as well “ accompanying measures “,involving approaches to provide advice and assistance regarding the complementary and balancing the needs of the target groups of alternative social services in the community.
