Hot lunch supply in Municipality of Tvarditsa

The purpose of this project is to reduce the number of people living in poverty by providing food and in particular hot lunch to people in need in order to overcome the lack of material deprivation. A competition will be announced in order to find a supplier of social services based on the Social Assistance Act and the Implementation Rules of the Social Assistance Act and there will be a public soup-kitchen which will take care of the consumers from the settlements in the Municipality. The most deprived people will be chosen according to Ordinance №RD 07-1/04.04.2016 for the order and clauses for defining the target population based on the Operative program for food and basic material help, co-financed by the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived where the accent will be on the people who live alone and on families which receive minimal pension - for retirement and age; for disability; for inherited pensions; for pensions which are not connected to work activities. 1000 users will be served from September 2017 to August 2018. and from September 2018. by March 2019 - 880 users and 850 users from April 2019 to June 2019. , 830 users by December 2019, and 724 users by 01.01.2020 consumers while the selection will start from September 2016. The following activities are planned: - Selection of the consumers - with cooperation of Sliven Directorate for Social Help based on the requirements for application and the needs of the towns and villages in the municipality; - Buy foodstuffs following the conditions of the Social Assistance Act for choosing a supplier; - Hot lunch supply - including provision of balanced nutrition to the target population according to the requirements of food safety and national nutrition standards. - Accompanied support and cooperation measures for resolving any target population problems.
