Provision of Warm Lunch in Kardzhali Municipality

The implementation of this project is part of the purposeful social policy implemented by the Municipality of Kardzhali. The current project proposal aims to improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable groups by meeting the basic food needs of individuals and families who can not afford it alone and create the conditions for effectively exercising their right to independence and social inclusion. The implementation of this project proposal will create an opportunity to complement, upgrade and extend the scope of the existing national public dining program. In the autumn-winter season from 2013 to 2016, the public dining-room established in Kardzhali, Kodjali, was prepared and provided a hot lunch for a project funded by the Social Protection Fund of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. On the territory of Kardzhali Municipality there is a Home Social Patronage, located in the town of Kardzhali. Within the framework of the project will be created a Public Dining Room at Home Social Patronage-Kardzhali, at the address: 1 Minyorska Str. It will prepare and deliver on the working days of the month a hot meal of 120 consumers, which will be packed in individual disposable buckets until 12.08.2018. including. The patronage has its own specialized transport, which will provide a warm lunch for the people with mobility difficulties and to the points of sale in the nearby settlements to the town. For the period from 13.08.2018. until 31.12.2019. a warm lunch will be provided to 600 users through a social service provider selected after a competition under the SPV and PFSPP - Puldmell Ltd., which has the necessary facilities for the normal performance of all activities. The prepared food will be delivered by the social service provider "Public Dining Room" in Kardzhali, 1 Minershora Street and in all the settlements of Kardzhali Municipality, with the transport of the contractor in disposable containers.
