Providing hot meal in Targovishte town and small settlements.

The main priority of the project proposal is to provide free hot meal for people in need, people who have become socially and financially poor. The realization of this project is a part of a targeted social policy, which Targovishte Municipality develops to support people and families, object of monthly support; people with less income and family to take care of; people or families who live alone, with minimum income; homeless people etc. The project will provide hot meal for 2800 consumers in Targovishte town and small settlements, representatives of the main targeted groups, defined in provisions of Regulation № RD – 07-1 from 04.04.2016 of MTSP, for a period of 39 month –01.10.2016 -31.12.2019. OM "Respite" Targovishte consists of 4 / four / units which function blocks kitchen: The kitchen in Targovishte, in s. Ostrets, in s. Makariopolsko and s.Dralfa. The number of persons using the service is 574 people, including 65 / sixty-five / person in a very serious financial situation, no income and housing, payment of which is done by the church board of "St. Ivan Rilski". During the autumn-winter season of 2009-2016 the home care kitchen in DSP-Targovishte has made and delivered hot meal for a project, financed by the fund “Social protection” in MTSP. The realization of this project proposal will create opportunity to upgrade and expansion the activities of the already existing and functioning home care kitchen in DSP-Targovishte. In that kitchen during the working days of the month will be prepared and delivered the hot meal, hot meal which will be packaged individually with disposable kitchen utensils. The municipality has and will provide specialized transport with which will provide hot meal for the people with disabilities or difficulty in moving.
