The purpose of the current project is decreasing of the number of persons living in poverty, by supporting them with foods in order to overcome basic material deprivation, providing free hot meals to people in need. In Burgas will be set up one public dining room for distributing of hot meals in disposable dishes. The social service “Public dining room” will be provided by a registered service provider. The procedure of assignment of the social service management will be implemented in compliance with the provisions of the Social Support Act and its Implementing Regulations. According to the official statement of the Director of Social Assistance Directorate – Burgas, the number of persons eligible to receive hot meals from the main group are 855 with the clarification that the information is very dynamic. This determined the choice of Burgas Municipality of 85 persons - subject of support. The preparation of hot meals will be carried out by a registered service provider, will be packaged into disposable containers and will be transported in specialized vehicles to the point of food distribution. Distribution of food will be carried out between 11:00 and 13:00 o’clock after receiving signatures from the users in pre-prepared lists with their personal data. Feedback forms will be prepared which will be available for the users. In addition to the food distribution there will be offered attending measures aiming reducing of the social exclusion and/or dealing with emergency social situations in a emancipated and sustainable way, that consist in individual/group consultation and support for use of social and/or administrative services, support for access to healthcare and education, management of family budget, healthy and balanced nutrition.
