Providing hot lunch in the Municipality of Kazanlak

The project “Provision of Hot Lunch in the Municipality of Kazanlak” will be implemented for a total of 40 users within 41 (forty-one) months from December 2016 to April 30, 2020. The funds are provided under the Operational Program for Food and / or Basic Material Assistance from the Fund for European Assistance to the Most Deprived 2014-2020. The implementation of this project is part of the purposeful social policy that the Municipality of Kazanlak develops in support of people living in material deprivation and at risk of social exclusion. The operational program will enable these 40 people to have a warm lunch from the beginning of 2017 to the end of April 2020. A varied weekly menu is guaranteed, which will ensure balanced nutrition for the target groups, while respecting food safety requirements and national nutrition standards and norms. The project will contribute to achieving the overall objective of the Operational Program related to reducing the number of people living in poverty by supporting them with food, with a view to overcoming the basic material deprivation. Domestic Social Patronage will provide a Hot Lunch to a total of 40 users within 749 (seven hundred and forty-nine) business days for the period May 1, 2017 to April 30, 2020. by the following target groups: 1. Persons and families on monthly support under the terms and conditions of Art. 9 of the Rules for Implementation of the Law on Social Assistance; 2. Persons with proven lack of income and relatives to care for them, established by the relevant Social Assistance Directorate; 3. Single living persons and families receiving minimum pensions - for length of service and old age; for disability; survivors' pensions; non-employment pensions; 4. Wandering and homeless children and persons. 5. Persons from vulnerable groups - third-country nationals within the meaning of § 1., item 17 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Law on Asylum and Refugees.
