"Providing hot meals in municipality of Koprivshtica-with care and responsibility for the disadvantaged "

The opening of public dining by the “Food and/or Basic Material Assistance Operational Programme” will meet the needs of 50 number of people, who are people in need, in the municipality of Koprivshtitsa. This project will provide this people warm meals every work day for 43 months. The main target group in the project is:1.People and families, which have monthly income under the terms and conditions of Article 9 of the Regulations implementing the law on social assistance; 2. People with proven lack of income, so their relatives have to look after them. 3.Lonely people and families receiving minimum pensions – for retirement and old age, disability, inheritable pension etc. People and families, which are supported under the terms and conditions of the Regulation Number RD-071 OF April, 4 2016 of the Ministry of labor and social policy, as well as requirements for applying for this procedure. The project will be implementing following main activities: 1. Defining of the target groups; 2. Purshase of foods products; 3. Providing warm lunches; 4. Providing accompanying actions. Food products, required for preparing those warm lunches will be delivered to the Home Care (DSP) from the contractor, selected with a public procedure according to public procurement law. The lunch will be prepared in the kitchen of the Home Care (DPS), according to variable weekly menu, which has to assure a balanced nutrition meal, for all the people under the above target groups, under the requirements for food safety and national standards and norms for food in Bulgaria. The lunch will be offered in the dining room of the Home Care Unit, and for people with disabilities will be delivered directly to their homes with a special vehicle.
