Providing a warm lunch in Piblic dining in the municipality of Brezovo

Provision of hot lunch meal to persons in need living in Brezovo Municipality, from the following target groups: - individuals living alone and families receiving minimum pensions for: old age; disability; survivors' pensions; pensions unrelated to work; persons with no income or relatives to take care of them, proved by the Social Assistance Directorate (SAD). During the implementation of the project, all necessary measures will be taken to avoid double funding and duplication of activities. The key target groups of beneficiaries of the project will be selected with the administrative capacity of the municipality, based on a preliminary determined selection method provided by SAD – Rakovski. The implementation of the following two activities of the project – purchase of food and provision of hot lunch meal - will be delegated to contractors in accordance with the Public Procurement Act. Pre-cooked meals will be provided in three ways: - at the contractor’s facilities – for the inhabitants of the town of Brezovo; - municipal delivery – for the residents of the municipal villages; - home delivery – for people with disabilities. Hot lunch meals will be prepared under the direct control of the Municipality of Brezovo and in compliance with the requirements for food safety, national standards and nutrition norms, as well as with the requirements for a balanced diet. It is envisaged that a warm lunch will be launched from 01.11.2016. 70 users will be covered from all the settlements on the territory of the municipality., 80 from 01.05.2017 The implementation of the project lasts 38 months
