Providing warm lunch Municipality of Stambolovo

Operation type 3 “Providing warm lunch” is aimed to help the primary targeted group – people who have no income or relatives to take care of them, low-income individuals and families, individuals and families who receive monthly aid by the terms and conditions of article 9 of the Implementing Regulations for the Social Security act, as well as a supplementary targeted group, according to ordinance by the minister of labor and social politics № RD-07-1 04/04/2016. A list of the members of both groups will be provided by the Social Assistance Directorate Harmanli. The targeted group will receive free food, prepared and delivered by an external contractor, by the terms and conditions of article 37 of the Implementing Regulations for the Social Security act, services and deliveries, which are in annex 2. The targeted groups in the project contain 282 people and families of 26 settlements on the territory of municipality Stambolovo. Currently municipality Stambolovo has signed a contract for the preparing, transporting and delivery of warm food, for the accomplishment of the activities for the social service “Public dining area” for procedure BG05FMOP001-03.02 “Providing warm lunch”. The prepared food will be tailored to the needs of the targeted groups, it will be diverse and it will respond to the relevant requirements. The process of preparing and delivery of food will be directed by the municipality of Stambolovo. The town halls of the settlements will serve as sites for food distribution. The members of the targeted groups or their representatives will receive the food at the food-distribution sites, on a certain schedule. For people who have difficulties with movement, home-delivery will be provided, by volunteers and/or by appointed supervisors. Food will be delivered in plastic, one-use-only containers.
