The "Provision of a Hot Lunch in the Municipality of Yambol" is aimed at building and expanding the existing public dining facilities and helping this part of the city that receives minimal income and hardly provides funds to meet everyday food needs. The project targets the following main target groups: 1. Lone residents and families receiving minimum pensions - for length of service and age; for disability; survivors' pensions, pensions not related to employment. 2. Wandering and homeless persons and children. For over forty-three months, 150 people will receive a warm lunch every business day. Food will be provided to the representatives of the selected target groups and delivery of food at home through the Home Social Patronage of the town of Yambol. A variety of food meets the criteria of balanced nutrition, which will be prepared by suitably qualified personnel. The food will be delivered to the homes for the period November 2016 - April 2020. The envisaged activities are: 1. Consumer selection - to be carried out in close cooperation with the Social Assistance Directorate, according to the requirements for applying and taking into account the reality and needs of the municipality; 2. Purchasing of food products - in compliance with the requirements of the PPA for the selection of suppliers, as well as the regulation regulating food production and trade; 3. Provision of hot lunch - including ensuring balanced nutrition of the target groups, in compliance with food safety requirements and national standards and dietary standards; 4. Implementation of accompanying measures aimed at supporting and helping to solve specific problems of the target groups.
