The project proposal "Providing a warm lunch on the territory of Kostinbrod municipality" is aimed at helping people in dire economic straits to meet their food needs. Within 26 months, on working days of the week, persons and families on monthly support under the terms and conditions of Art. , families receiving minimum pensions or homeless citizens will receive free meals prepared and delivered by the municipal Home Patronage Unit. The project target group, at the time of application, covers 51 people / Annex 1 of 28.06.2018 - increasing the number of users from 51 to 72 persons / from all settlements of Kostinbrod municipality. Food will be purchased in accordance with the requirements of national law and in compliance with the principles of publicity and transparency. A varied weekly menu will be provided to ensure balanced nutrition for the target group, while respecting food safety requirements and national nutrition standards and standards. In order to provide a warm lunch to people with mobility difficulties, home delivery will be arranged, and for wandering and homeless persons, food will be delivered to the relevant town hall from where it will be received. Kostinbrod Municipality and Domestic Social Patronage have sufficiently qualified staff with experience in providing social services on the territory of the municipality. The provision of accompanying measures is also envisaged to supplement the provision of the hot lunch service, which is expressed in individual and group counseling in connection with the possibility of using social, administrative and other. types of services, and other forms of support in response to identified specific needs and problems of target group representatives.
