Provision of a hot lunch in the municipality of Kaolinovo

The Municipality of Kaolinovo is planning to provide a balanced and healthy diet to a total of 400 people living in the municipality within 503 working days. The main target group: people receiving monthly aid under the terms and conditions of Article 9 of the Regulation on the implementation of the Law on Social Assistance and Lone Living Individuals and Families and people with proven lack of income and relatives to take care of them on the territory of the municipality. This service is scheduled to start from 01.05.2018 to 30.04.2020. The prepared food will be delivered to an appropriate material base, registered under Article 12 of the Food Act. From there ranked consumers will receive a warm lunch. Disabled people will be provided with transport to their homes. It is considered that a team, formed by an order of the mayor, will define the general target groups – beneficiaries of the project, based on received forms from the “Social Assistance” Directorate in Kaolinovo and a prepared in advance selection mechanism. The preparation of a warm lunch will be performed by a registered service provider, packaged in disposable containers and will be transported with specialized vehicles to every station in the municipality. The distribution of the food will take place from 11:00 to 13:00 hr, after consumers sign a pre-established list with their personal information. Feedback forms will also be prepared, which will be available to users. A competition was held, with an order given by the Mayor of Kaolinovo Municipality, for the management of the social service “Public Dining Room” and a contract was signed with a service provider according to the regulations of the “Law on Social Assistance” and the “Rules for the Application of the Law on Social Assistance”. Within the framework of the project proposal, the implementation of accompanying measures is also planned.
