"Hot lunch in the conditions of the pandemic of COVID-19 in the municipality of Karlovo"

The project activities will upgrade and expand the scope of the existing Social Patronage, and during its implementation the necessary measures will be taken to avoid double funding and duplication of the covered activities. It is envisaged that by order of the mayor a commission will be appointed to accept the submitted applications, to submit them for evaluation to the SAD - Karlovo, and on the basis of the prepared assessments, to make a ranking and in a report to propose to the mayor. Karlovo municipality, the persons classified for concluding a contract for the provision of social services. A contract has been concluded with a contractor for the purchase of food products and the provision of a hot lunch, in accordance with the PPA. The prepared food will be delivered to designated points in the settlements of Karlovo municipality. The provided hot lunch will be prepared by the contractor under the direct control of the Municipality of Karlovo and in compliance with the requirements for anti-epidemic measures, food safety, national standards and norms of nutrition and the requirement to contribute to a balanced diet. The provision of hot lunch is scheduled to start from 11.01.2021, and will cover up to 300 consumers from the municipality within 78 working days of the months. This project proposal includes accompanying measures in the form of monthly consultations on opportunities to use other social services, use of administrative municipal services and support in case of needs and problems of representatives of the target group of employees of Karlovo municipality and will be implemented throughout the period. of implementation of the activity "Hot lunch in the conditions of the pandemic of COVID-19 in the municipality of Karlovo". The accompanying measures will be implemented throughout the period of implementation of the contract and should be fully consistent with the anti-epidemic measures and the specific needs of the people in these conditions.
