Providing hot lunch in the town of Lom

The Project “Providing hot lunch in the town of Lom” is directed to 150 vulnerable persons, who are in a difficult situation due to poverty and long lasting social isolation in the situation of the crisis coming from the spread of COVID 19 and are unable to provide their food. They must meet the following conditions. - People without incomes or with low incomes who are below the line of poverty – people in difficulty due to the deteriorating economic situation in the country, people who due to their age or existing disabilities are at higher risk of infection and unfavorable course of the infection; - People who are under quarantine – without incomes or with low incomes below the line of poverty and who have no relatives to take care of them. - People - subject to social assistance, for whom the need for additional support has been identified and in the conditions of an emergency epidemic situation, are unable to satisfy their basic living needs. The provision of a hot lunch to the representatives of the target group will be only on working days in the period 04.01.2021-27.04.2021 - 81 days in total. The food will be prepared by the Home Social Patronage - Lom. During the period of providing a hot lunch, the persons will be provided with accompanying measures, expressed in individual counseling and assistance for social support.
