"Preparation and delivery of hot lunch to vulnerable groups of people in the municipality of Kirkovo"

With this project Kirkovo Municipality will implement the social service preparation and delivery of hot lunch to vulnerable groups in the municipality of Kirkovo in the pandemic of COVID-19, which will provide free hot lunch for people in need. The project is part of the purposeful social policy of the municipality of Kirkovo in support of the people living in material deprivation and at risk of social isolation.The Municipality of Kirkovo conducted a procedure under the Public Procurement Act, but due to the great fragmentation and remoteness of the regions in the Municipality of Kirkovo it is necessary to select more than one supplier. and the delivery of a hot lunch will be done by the selected contractors.Kirkovo Municipality Considering that our country is in a state of emergency and to ensure that aid will reach those most affected by the crisis, our municipality identifies the most needy people in the municipality of Kirkovo uses the following sources of information - signals to citizens, information from RHI for persons placed under mandatory quarantine, information from providers of social services, mayors of settlements.After identifying the needy, Kirkovo municipality following the approved mechanism daily sends the necessary documents for confirmation by DSP-Kirkovo for belonging to the eligible target group. By order of the mayor a commission was formed, which developed a selection procedure will use the social service.According to the list, a free hot lunch will be provided daily, including soup, main course and bread and at least once a week dessert. In this way, 1,900 people on the lists will be provided with support daily. In parallel with the provision of the social service, the municipality of Kirkovo will also provide accompanying measures in the form of consulting representatives of the target groups.
