Providing hot meal in Byala town, Ruse district

The implementation of this project proposal will result preparing and delivering hot lunch in support of vulnerable citizens of Byala, who due to poverty and prolonged social isolation, in the conditions of the declared emergency situation due to COVID-19 are in difficulty in providing food for themselves. The main goal of Byala Municipality is to reduce the number of people living in poverty by providing food for the people most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences. The implementation of this project is part of the targeted social policy that the Municipality of Byala develops in support of vulnerable people over 65 years of age, who have no income or income below the poverty line defined for the country and who live alone and have no relatives to take care of them, and people with permanent disabilities who are also unable to meet their daily needs and it is advisable to limit their contacts in order to spread of COVID-19. The project envisages providing hot lunch to the home, in the conditions of emergency, to 150 users from the town of Byala, representatives of the target groups defined in the provisions of Operation "3.1.-Hot lunch in the conditions of the pandemic of COVOD-19", namely: 1 / people without income or with low income below the poverty line - people in difficulty due to the deteriorating economic situation in the country, people who due to their age or disabilities are at higher risk of infection and adverse course of infection; 2 / people placed under quarantine - without income or with low income below the poverty line and have no relatives to support them; 3 / people, object of social assistance, for whom a need for additional support has been established and in the conditions of an emergency epidemic situation, are unable to satisfy their basic living needs.
