"3-1 - Warm lunch in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic in Omurtag's Municipality"

Omurtag Municipality makes provisions for the current project to let out the social activity "Warm lunch", aiming to improve the quality of life and support the target groups, which due to poverty and continuous social isolation, stemming from the spread of COVID-19, are unable to ensure their own living. The project is going to be realized on Omurtag Municipality territory, and the beneficiaries that will be served are 170 people. They are going to be selected by a commission, which membership is going to be consisted of the "Social Assistance" board deputies. Throughout the whole period of the execution of the activity "Warm lunch provision" are going to be realized concomitant precautions, that are expressed by activities, stipulated in addition to the distribution of food with the purpose of reducing the social exclusion and/or handling emergency social situations in emancipative and stable way of living, for example: possible usage of different social services, offered on the territory of the municipality, including those, financed by ESF; usage of administrative municipal services, co-operation in the insurance of temporary accommodation for the homeless, support for the access to health and educational services, family budget management, healthy and balanced diet, consultations about the requirements related to the introduced anti-pandemic measures, etc. and various other types of individual support, assistance, consultations, realized in response to the particular needs and problems concerning the representatives of the target groups in order to overcome the consequences of the prolonged social isolation.
