Predostavjane na topal objad v obshtina Medkovec v uslovijata na pandemijata ot COVID-19

In connection with the declared state of emergency in the Republic of Bulgaria and the accompanying prolonged social isolation, many elderly and socially disadvantaged people in the municipality of Medkovets have found it difficult to provide for themselves. In the Municipality of Medkovets there is an active municipal social enterprise with a working kitchen, which prepares food every day during working hours and delivers it to its consumers with its own transport. The kitchen is equipped with professional electrical and gas appliances, ventilation system.The suppliers of products have been selected after a public procurement and have a contract with the municipality. The products needed for the preparation of the dishes correspond to BDS. The food is prepared in compliance with all sanitary norms and requirements and is delivered in disposable packages purchased for this purpose in order to avoid the spread of possible infections. There are two cars - Renault Kango, adapted for food transportation with which the delivery to the homes of consumers is carried out.The municipality also has a Citroen Jumper van with a platform for transporting a wheelchair, which can be used in emergencies. The staff of DSP has many years of experience in providing food to consumers.
