"3.1 - Hot lunch in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic in Municipality Smyadovo"

The project proposal "3.1 - Hot lunch in a pandemic of COVID-19 in the Municipality of Smyadovo" fully meets the requirements of the Operational Program for Food and / or Basic Material Support 2014-2020. The project will be implemented within 186 / one hundred and eighty and six / working days. Four project activities will be implemented: Defining the target groups; Preparation of a hot lunch; Providing a hot lunch; Implementation of accompanying measures. The project will include 300 people from the target groups for the period 01.01.2021 - 30.09.2021, who will be prepared hot lunch which includes: soup, main course, bread and dessert worth 2.70 BGN per person and will be provided every working day in the period 01.01.2021 - 30.09.2021. The food for the consumers will be prepared in the Home social patronage of Smyadovo, which has many years of experience and traditions in providing social services to the elderly by a daily supply of hot food, bread and dessert, in accordance with the requirements for rational nutrition of the elderly, social contacts and support, monitoring the health of consumers. In order to achieve the objectives of the Operational Program for Food and / or Basic Material Assistance, and in particular the objectives of the project for poverty reduction and tackling social exclusion, there will be accompanying measures, which will be implemented as project activities and which will be expressed in individual, group counseling, and / or telephone counseling, depending on the development of the epidemic situation. Individuals will receive assistance in obtaining other social services provided in the municipality, including those funded by the ESF, the use of municipal administrative services, healthy and balanced nutrition, counseling for the requirements related to the introduced anti-epidemic measures and other forms of individual support.
