"Hot lunch for the citizens of Karnobat municipality in the conditions of the pandemic of COVID-19"

Under the project "Hot lunch for the citizens of Karnobat municipality in the conditions of the pandemic of COVID-19" Karnobat Municipality, through Home Social Patronage will provide hot lunch to the citizens of the municipality who need social protection in the highest degree. The hot lunch will contain - soup, main course, bread and at least once a week dessert and will be provided to 40 consumers in the period 04.01.2021 to 30.09.2021. The food will be prepared in the registered kitchen of DSP - Karnobat and will be provided in the home to consumers. The local hot lunch activity will support people from the following target groups: people without income or low income below the poverty line - people in difficulty due to the deteriorating economic situation in the country, due to their age or disability are in higher risk of infection and adverse course of infection; persons subject to social assistance, for whom the need for additional support has been identified and in the conditions of an emergency epidemic situation, are unable to satisfy their basic living needs; quarantined persons - without income or with low income below the poverty line and have no relatives to support them. The persons from the target groups covered by the project will be provided with accompanying support, expressed in individual counseling and assistance for the use of administrative municipal services, healthy and balanced nutrition, counseling on the introduced anti-epidemic measures, etc. This project will continue and upgrade the activities of the public dining room, which in the conditions of continued spread of COVID -19 throughout the country, in the period May - December 2020 provided a hot lunch to consumers from Karnobat, who due to age disability or disability due to lack of income or income below the poverty line, living alone and without relatives to take care of them, they found it difficult to provide for themselves.
