3-1 - Hot lunch in the conditions of the pandemic of COVID-19 in the municipality of Dryanovo

This project proposal foresees Municipality of Dryanovo to provide a service "Preparation and provision of hot food for the needs of households in the municipality of Dryanovo in the conditions of the pandemic of COVID - 19" in the period from 11.01.2021 to 30.09.2021. Within 181 working days, a hot lunch will be provided to 70 people from different risk groups, namely: -Persons without income or with low income below the poverty line. - Persons under quarantine - without income or with low income below the poverty line and who have no relatives to support them. - Persons subject to social assistance for whom the need for additional support has been identified and in the conditions of an emergency epidemic situation. The service will be provided in compliance with anti-epidemic measures, the principles of balanced nutrition and food safety requirements and national standards and nutrition norms. The hot food will be delivered at the consumers` homes. The service of providing hot lunch on the basis of a contract has been assigned to an external contractor, who together with Dryanovo Municipality will organize the activity of providing unreceived hot lunch. Within the project, the users of the service will have the opportunity to receive accompanying measures in accordance with the anti-epidemic measures, in order to limit the spread of COVID-19, as well as with the specific needs of the people in these conditions. The implementation of the project activities will contribute to the improvement of the quality of life in the conditions of the COVID - 19 pandemic and to the satisfaction of the food needs of people who cannot provide for themselves.
