"Hot lunch in the conditions of the pandemic from COVID-19 in Kostenets municipality"

The project will be implemented on the territory of Kostenets municipality. The municipality informs the residents through an announcement about the recruitment of those willing to join the project. Other sources of signals from citizens, an open telephone line, information from the Regional Health Inspection for persons placed under mandatory quarantine, etc. will also be used. The received documents will be sent to the Social Assistance Directorate in Ihtiman for evaluation. A selection team will be formed to review the candidates' documents and determine which of them will benefit from the service as well as a list of spare users. The hot lunch will be prepared in the kitchen of the Home Social Patronage in Kostenets and will include: soup, main course, bread and at least once a week a dessert. The food will be placed and delivered in disposable boxes. The dishes will be selected in order to cover the requirements of a balanced diet. The recipes for their preparation will be chosen based on the ones indicated in the Compendiums of recipes for public catering establishments. The food will be delivered every working day to the home of the users, using vehicles of the HSP Kostenets, covering the requirements for the packaging and transportation of food, in compliance with the anti-epidemic measures. A hot lunch under the project will be provided to a total of 80 users who meet the eligibility conditions of the target groups. Individual contracts will be signed with each of the users. They will certify the receipt of food with their signature on a daily basis. In order to prevent waste of the prepared hot lunch, if it is impossible for a user the receive the hot lunch, then it will be received by a user from the spares list. Within 9 months, consumers will be provided with individual accompanying measures, according to their needs and current anti-epidemic measures. The accompanying measures will be provided by municipal officials, subject to safety measures.
