Hot lunch in the conditions of a pandemic of COVID-19 in Sofia Municipality, Poduyane region

The current situation regarding the spread of COVID-19 and its economic and social effects on various public sectors has put social protection systems to the test. The state of emergency has led to rising unemployment, poverty and lack of income for many households. One form of social protection is the provision of hot food to disadvantaged people, single people and quarantined families.One of the forms of social protection that can help people in need is the provision of hot prepared food to disadvantaged people, single people and quarantined families. With the implementation of the project "Hot lunch in the conditions of a pandemic of COVID-19" Sofia Municipality, Poduyane region will help up to 200 people from the poorest and most vulnerable groups with hot food received at home, according to anti-epidemic measures, for a period of 186 working days / 01.01.2021 to 30.09.2021 /. The place of implementation of the project is the territory of the region "Poduyane" including: residential complex "Hadji Dimitar", residential complex "Suhata Reka", residential complex "Levski Zona B", residential complex "Levski Zona G" ; Levski quarter, part of Malashevtsi quarter. The food will be prepared and delivered to the consumers by a contractor selected under the PPL.The determination of the dishes that will be provided to the end users and the provision of healthy, quality and varied food will be the responsibility of the Poduyane Municipality, as a partner organization - beneficiary. consumers, in compliance with the sanitary and hygienic requirements, in order to limit the spread of COVID-19, which will be realized by the beneficiary.
