Hot lunch in a pandemic from COVID-19 in the municipality of Lukovit

The project envisages providing warm meals to people in the targetgroups on the territory of all settlements in the municipality ofLukovit.350 representatives of those approved by the Social Assistance Directorate for the period 04.01.2021 to 30.09.2021 will be covered - a total of 186 working days. Food products will besupplied by a contractor selected by a public procurement procedure. The food will be prepared at the Home of Social Patronage in the town of Lukovit, will be delivered to all settlements to an address through the vehicles of HSP and will be distributed to consumers against a signature. Accompanying measures are common to all users: distribution of information materials, leaflets, leaflets, etc., and individual: counseling and assistance in obtaining other social services or support in other areas of life, depending on the identified needs. During the preparation period in December 2020, 550 applications were received from needy persons, processed by the Lukovit Social Assistance Directorate for eligibility and 350 representatives of the vulnerable target groups were identified, and reservations were identified. During the project, a total of 65,100 hot lunches will be prepared - soup, main course and bread and at least once a week dessert, which will be packaged in individual disposable containers and delivered to the homes of 350 people in need.
