The implementation of this project in the municipality of Zemen will reduce the number of people living in poverty, by providing hot meals and by providing support to meet basic living needs, while minimizing the risk of negative consequences of COVID-19 for each person using project services. The project will have a implementation period of 11.01.2021-30.09.2021, and it will include 85 users. The project is aimed at the most vulnerable target groups of the public in an epidemic situation and most directly affected by COVID-19: 1. Persons without income or with low income below the poverty line - people in difficulty due to the deteriorating economic situation in the country, people who due to their age or disability are at higher risk of infection and adverse infection. 2. Persons placed in quarantine - without income or with low income below the poverty line and have no relatives to support them. 3. Persons subject to social assistance, for whom the need for additional support has been identified and in the conditions of an emergency epidemic situation, are unable to satisfy their basic living needs. The Municipality of Zemen will provide the prepared hot lunch, if necessary, to the homes of the end users in compliance with all sanitary and hygienic requirements and prescriptions of the national competent authorities. The persons involved in the project will be provided with accompanying support in the form of shopping for food and medicine with consumer funds, support through consultation and assistance to various institutions, telephone consultations and others.
