"3-1 - Hot lunch in the conditions of the pandemic of COVID-19 in the municipality of Vratsa"

With this project proposal the Municipality of Vratsa will have the opportunity to continue the activities for providing hot lunch in the years from 2016 to 2020. With the implementation of the project from 01.01.2021 to 30.09.2021 will contribute to achieving the overall goal of operation, which is in line with the basic principles of the European Pillar of Social Rights, in which the operation is planned in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country and provides support to meet the basic food needs of people in need of social protection to the highest degree. For this purpose, the following activities will be set for implementation: 1. Defining the target groups; 2. Preparing a hot lunch; 3. Providing a hot lunch; 4. Implementation of accompanying measures. The food will be prepared in two of the canteens in the city of Vratsa, and given the anti-epidemic measures introduced, food will be provided in the homes of consumers, packed in disposable boxes. This procedure will cover 200 persons eligible for the project. A project management team will be established, which will implement activities to prevent double funding, provide ancillary services, quality project implementation and other activities that will contribute to the coverage of the most deprived persons and provide them with the necessary support for leading a normal life in the context of the COVID pandemic 19.
