Hot lunch in the conditions of the pavidemic of kovid -19 per inhabitant of Hitrino municipality

This project proposal aims to provide free warm lunchfor people in need who are disadvantaged, most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences, as well as to improve their quality of life. The implementation of this project is part of the purposeful social policy that the municipality of Hitrino is developing in support of people with a proven lack of income and relatives to take care of them; single people and families receiving minimum pensions; people and families subject to monthly support. The project envisages providing a hot lunch to 500 consumers from the 20 settlements of Hitrino municipality, representatives of the main target groups, for a period of 8 months - 01.02.2021 - 30.09.2021. The lists of the target groups were determined by Social Assistance Directorate -Venets, and the selection of specific users, was carried out according to the Selection Methodology. For the delivery of the warm lunch a procedure was performedunder the Public Procurement Law for selection of a supplier has been carried out and a contract has been concluded. The food will be transported by a vehicle registered under the Food law. In each settlement there will be a point for distribution of the warm lunch - the town hall. The food will be provided to the consumers or their personal assistants / domestic helpers / trustees / guardians according to a specified schedule by hours, in disposable containers. For people with mobility difficulties and people under quarantine, transportation of food to the consumer's home will be provided.
