Hot lunch in the conditions of the pandemic from COVID-19 in Sofia Municipality - "VITOSHA" district

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, through Operation 3.1 - Hot lunch in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sofia Municipality, District Vitosha will continue to provide social support to meet the basic food needs of the most vulnerable citizens living on its territory. The project envisages providing a hot lunch to 65 people in need of food in the period from 01.01.2021 until 27.04.2021 (inclusive). Representatives of the following target groups are covered: • Persons without income or with low income below the poverty line - people in difficulty due to the deteriorating economic situation in the country, people who due to their age or disability are at higher risk of infection and adverse infection. • Persons subject to social assistance, for whom the need for additional support has been identified and in the conditions of an emergency epidemic situation, are unable to satisfy their basic living needs. The Social Assistance Directorate - Krasno Selo, has confirmed their affiliation to the eligible target groups under the project. In connection with the implementation of the project TARGET PROGRAM "HOT LUNCH AT HOME IN THE CONDITIONS OF EMERGENCY SITUATION 2020", District Vitosha has a valid contract based on Article 20, paragraph 4 of the Public Procurement Act, with subject of activity preparation, packaging and delivery of food to the homes of the consumers, with “Marten 507” Ltd. (Contract RVT20 - GR94 - 1616 - [1] from 21.04.2020). According to the annex of this contract District Vitosha via “Marten 507" Ltd. will continue to provide those in need with food (catering type), prepared and packaged in strict compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements for working with food products.The preparated food will be delivered daily on working days. District Vitosha will also provide accompanying support to people in need according to their individual needs throughout the project implementation period.
