"Providing a hot meal during and after a pandemic in Lyulin area"

The project proposal is aimed at providing social support by providing a hot lunch to the most vulnerable and affected citizens. By providing the service we will alleviate the consequences of COVID-19. For the purposes of the project, it is envisaged that every working day of the month a company with which the Municipality of Lyulin has a contract will prepare food according to criteria and standards set for the country. The "hot lunch" will be delivered to the final addresses of the users in disposable boxes.The cars with which the food will be delivered meet the requirements of the Food Act regarding the packaging and transportation of food. After the expiration of the strict measures introduced, the food will be delivered to a bottling point called a "dining room", where it will be distributed to the beneficiaries. Lyulin district reserves the right to deliver food to the homes of consumers who are unable to take it.The target group of the eligible persons is determined by employees of the Social Assistance Directorate in accordance with the Manual for Execution and Management of Contracts, and their affiliation is confirmed before the start of the contract and during the entire period of its implementation. incomes or low incomes below the poverty line - people in difficulty due to the deteriorating economic situation in the country, people who due to their age or disability are at higher risk of infection and adverse infection;- Persons placed in quarantine - without income or with low income below the poverty line and have no relatives to support them - Persons subject to social assistance for whom the need for additional support has been identified and in the conditions of an emergency epidemic situation , are unable to meet their basic living needs. When the quota of 220 persons is filled, the newly submitted applications by candidate users will be considered and in case of admissibility, the persons will be included in the list of reserves.
