"3-1 - Hot lunch in a pandemic by COVID-19 in the Municipality of Blagoevgrad" is a project proposal, which envisages the implementation of specific activities for a period of 9 months related to provision of hot lunch for 150 people. The project includes detailed activities that will ensure the preparation of a variety of quality, balanced hot food that will help residents of Blagoevgrad Municipality, fallen or at risk of falling into poverty. In the event of a pandemic emergency, the project will contribute to reducing the adverse effects of the crisis on vulnerable social groups, including people with motor difficulties, and in addition to providing hot lunch, will create conditions for its delivery directly to homes ot the people in need. Food will be provided on weekdays for the ovarall duration of the project. It is intended for people who have mobility problems to receive additional assistance by delivering hot food to the address where they live. The same method will be used when if the state imposes additional restrictions in case the epidemis situation goes worse. In aaddition, the project includes the provision of accompanying measures for the people who will receive a hot lunch. They will be tailored to the need and desire of people to be supported. Each case will be considered separately. The objectives of these accompanying measures will be to expand support for social inclusion and prevention of social exclusion. As a result of the implementation of the project it is expected: to provide real support to 150 residents of Blagoevgrad municipality by provision of hot lunch in the conditions of COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure the continuity of the social service "public dining" in the municipality.
