"Hot lunch in the conditions of the pandemic of COVID-19 in the municipality of Sredets"

The aim of this project is to provide a hot lunch to people who find it difficult to provide for themselves due to poverty and prolonged social isolation in the conditions of the epidemiological situation declared in the country, resulting from the spread COVID-19. The hot lunch will be prepared in the kitchen block of the Home Social Patronage, located in the town of Sredets at 28 Vasil Kolarov Street. The hot lunch will be packed in disposable containers and will be delivered to the homes of the consumers by the official cars. and DSP mobile teams. In the conditions of emergency and in order to limit social contacts to a minimum, a "Consumer Diary" will be used, where consumers will sign for the food received daily. At the end of each month, users will submit their diaries and receive new ones for the following month. In addition to the provision of hot lunch, accompanying measures will be offered, which are indicative of individual counseling and assistance to end users of hot lunch, according to current anti-epidemic measures and their individual needs for: opportunities to use other social services provided to the territory of the municipality, including those financed by the ESF; the use of administrative municipal services, assistance in providing temporary shelter for the homeless, to support access to health and education services, to manage the family budget, to eat a healthy and balanced diet, to advise on the requirements related to the introduced anti-epidemic measures, etc. ; other forms of individual support, assistance, counseling, realized in response to specifically identified needs and problems of the representatives of the target groups in order to overcome the consequences of prolonged social isolation.
