"3-1 - Warm lunch in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic of in Venets Municipality"

Determining target groups under Project 3-1: Warm lunch in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic of in Venets Municipality will be implemented throughout the period of the grant agreement. Candidates that wish to participate shall submit an Application at Venets or the respective town halls. Those that are identified as persons that require the most assistance shall be submitted to the Social Support Directorate - Venets for confirmation as members of the eligible target group, while checking for the presence of risk of double funding in the inclusion of a specific candidate.The selection of the participants in target group shall be carried out by a mechanism for selection of users that have been approved by the Mayor of Venets Municipality.During every working day, 400 consumers from all 13 settlements in the Municipality shall receive a warm lunch, which shall include soup, a main course, bread, and an occasional dessert. The preparation and delivery shall be performed by K amp; V ltd. Sliven as selected under the Public Procurement Act. Lunch shall be provided at distribution points within the settlements that are registered in the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency - Shumen and shall meet the respective hygiene requirements. The food shall be provided to participants or to their assistants/relatives as per a specific schedule and in disposable dishes.If necessary, the food shall be delivered to participants’ homes as per all hygienic requirements of the competent national authorities.In order to prevent food waste if a warm lunch isn’t received and still meets the conditions for storage and consumption it shall be provided to other participants in the selection protocols. Under the project, Venets Municipality shall implement accompanying measures through individual consultation and assistance to participants as per the anti-epidemic measures and their specific requirements.
