"3-1 - Warm lunch in conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic in Gorna Oryahovitsa Municipality"

Achievement of the project objectives will result in: will help to improve the quality of people`s life who life in poverty by providing the basic food needs of these most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences in the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa; will complement the complex national measures taken in response to the crisis, focusing on these people that food provision is difficult or impossible in the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic; providing with a warm lunch 50 persons and families and the consumers receiving a warm lunch will be directed to other social and administrative municipal services, as well as assistance will be provided for obtaining health-care services if necessary. Target group of the project includes 50 people-without income or with low income below the poverty line - people in difficulty due to the deteriorating economic situation in the country, people who due to their age or disability are at higher risk of infection and the unfavorable course of the infection; Persons placed in quarantine - without income or with low income below the poverty line and have no relatives to support them; Persons subject to social assistance, for whom the need for additional support has been identified and in the conditions of an emergency epidemic situation, are unable to satisfy their basic living needs. As a result from the project implementation the scope of the existing communal kitchen in Gorna Oryahovitsa town will broaden, 50 persons will provided with warm lunch meals and accompanying services will be offered to the project target group. The mentioned above aims are to be achieved by the implementation of the following project activities: Identification of the Project Target Groups; Preparation of a Warm lunch; Provision of Warm Lunch Meals; Implementation of Accompanying Measures. During the project implementation publicity and information activities will be carried out as well. The project value is 24 651.00 BGN.
