Providing a hot lunch in the conditions of a Covid-19 pandemic in the Municipality of Momchilgrad.

With the current project on the territory of Momchilgrad municipality will be implemented local activity "Hot lunch", which will ensure the basic need for food for people who in a pandemic of Covid-19 need social protection in the highest degree. The project includes informing the population, accepting applications and selecting users. They aim to identify and cover the most vulnerable citizens of the municipality who are at the highest risk of infection - people with incomes below the poverty line - single people, people with disabilities, people placed under compulsory quarantine. A free hot lunch will be provided for them. The service will be provided through 4 providers, selected under the Social Assistance Act and the Regulations for its implementation before 01.07.2020. The activity will be realized in the period 04.01.2021. to 31.07.2021 and will cover 620 users. According to a list, a hot lunch will be provided daily, including soup, main course and bread, and once a week dessert. Lunch will be delivered to consumers' homes in disposable containers, subject to disinfection and personal protective equipment requirements to avoid the risks of infection and the spread of infection. At the same time, accompanying measures will be provided, which will be in an individual format, expressed in advising consumers, according to current anti-epidemic measures and their individual needs for the possibility of using other social services, use of administrative services, assistance in providing temporary shelter. of homeless people, supporting access to health and educational services, managing the family budget, healthy and balanced nutrition, advising on the requirements related to the introduced anti-epidemic measures and implemented in response to specific identified needs and problems of the target groups in order to overcome the consequences of prolonged social isolation.
