"3-1 - Hot meal in the conditions of a pandemic by Covid - 19 in the Municipality of Chepelare"

In the event of an emergency and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this project aims to provide food security support to the poorest and most vulnerable people most affected by the pandemic and its aftermath. The project "3-1 - Hot lunch in the conditions of a pandemic by COVID-19 in the municipality of Chepelare" envisages providing a free hot meal, in accordance with the anti-epidemic measures and the specific needs of the people. The target groups are determined in accordance with the requirements of the procedure. On the territory of Chepelare municipality 320 persons from the target groups are identified, distributed in nine of the settlements of the municipality - Chepelare, Bogutevo, Lilekovo, Ostritsa, Zabardo, Pavelsko, Hvoyna, Malevo, Orehovo. In order to avoid waste of the prepared food, it is envisaged to provide it to other persons from the eligible target groups, reflected as reserves. The provision of food will be carried out by assigning the activity of preparation to an external company, which will carry out delivery to each settlement, in compliance with all anti-epidemic measures. The food will be distributed in designated points, which are registered in the Regional Directorate of Food Safety - Smolyan. It is also envisaged that lunch will be distributed at the homes of people for whom it is impossible to reach the food distribution points in the respective settlement on their own due to their health condition or in cases when one of the service users is quarantined. Within the implementation of the project, in addition to the provision of food, the Municipality of Chepelare will offer accompanying measures tailored to the specific needs of people in these conditions, as well as the measures required by the emergency situation. expects to provide a hot lunch for vulnerable citizens of the municipality of Chepelare, who are in difficulty to provide for themselves.
