Maintenance and improvement of the developed university ranking system

The project focuses on improving the quality of higher education by providing an objective assessment based on the data of the Bulgarian University Ranking System (BURS).The objectives and the activities of the current project proposal are developed entirely in accordance with the procedure scheme "Maintenance and improvement of the developed university ranking system"-Phase 1.The project proposal is consistent with the regulations in higher education system, especially with the Strategy for development of higher education in Bulgaria 2014-2020 and its Action Plan.To achieve the objectives in the current project proposal it is necessary to achieve the following activities: 1. Preparatory and supporting activities 2. Activities on updating, publishing and popularization of the Bulgarian University Ranking System 3. Integration between existing information systems and registers with data base 4. Multiplication and sustainability 5. Project information and publicity activities 6. Organization and project management BURS is an established and working mechanism, extremely necessary in developing and implementing the policies of the MES in the field of higher education.The continuous improvement of the system will facilitate access to higher education, improve the quality of training, putting the Higher Schools in a competitive environment.
