Support for the development of human resources and capacity for science and research of National Military University for its transformation into a contemporary knowledge centre

The project proposal is aiming to invest in human resources engaged in the science and research of the National Military University to transform into a contemporary scientific organization with a solid contribution to knowledge based economy. The main target group of the project includes seventy six students, doctors degree students; post-doctoral fellows, young scientists and teachers from University. The project activities include motilities aiming to conduct experimental studies at leading scientific centers, qualification, continuing education and career advancement of the young scientists, development of specialized scientific networks amongst Bulgarian and foreign scientists, participation in international academic forums and publications at internationally ranked magazines, providing access to scientific laboratories, experimental equipment and data bases to conduct innovative research and development. Key activity in the project is for development of scientific capacity and the increased motivation of the young researchers which is aiming to improve the capacity to apply innovative doctor’s degree study and to support the development of young scientists. In addition the project includes two activities for the popularization of the university as a modern center for research and the organization of international scientific forums to disseminate the scientific results. The project includes two obligatory activities - information and publicity of the project and management of the project, which will be conducted by a project team of six experts. The project interventions are in a full compliance with the aims of priority two of the Operational Programme, the objectives of European strategy, as well as with the National strategy for the progress of research and development, and contribute to the implementation of strategic objective of the University to transform into a contemporary and advanced center for research and development.
