Supporting the development of human recources for scientific research and innovation in the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev".

The University of Ruse is one of the largest state universities in Bulgaria. There are around ten thousand students attending the university in the educational degrees of “Bachelor” and “Master” and PhD students. The teaching team consists of around 480 professors, associate professors, principal assistants and assistants. The last accreditation of the university has a score of 9.28 and was received on 07.06.2012 with protocol № 12 and lasts for six years until the year 2018. 23 professional fields are being accredited in the following 7 higher education areas: pedagogical studies, social, economical and legal studies, mathematics and computer science, technical science, agrarian science and veterinary medicine, healthcare and sports, security and defense. Research and development is conducted by teams of lecturers, assisted by PhD students and occasionally by Bachelor or Master students. Research is conducted inside the university base or in the outdoor conditions. Scientific personnel undergo periodical training and retraining primarily involving projects concluded by operational, international and national programs. The goal of the proposed project is supporting the scientific personnel and young PhD students by: increasing the level of qualification of the scientific personnel by attending specialized courses, material support, implementations of motilities in foreign companies and universities conducting in depth research and development, payment of fees for publication of the results from the scientific investigations in world famous journal and conferences indexed in Web of Science, Scopus, formation of scientific team by appointment in the University of Ruse of two foreign scientists in order to boost up the scientific research and to attract young scientists.
